Reverse Mortgage Assistance for Seniors!
The Reverse Mortgage Assistance Pilot Program (RevMAP") is a federally-funded program developed to provide assistance to senior homeowners who are in danger of losing their home to foreclosure due to their required property expenses associated with their reverse mortgage loans.
The goal of RevMAP is to prevent avoidable foreclosures by helping senior homeowners remain in their homes by helping them pay their required Property Expenses associated with their reverse mortgage loans. The maximum amount of assistance is up to $25,000.
The statewide launch of RevMAP was January 2015 and it will continue until
December 31, 2020 or until funding is exhausted. To apply, please contact your Home Equity
Conversion Mortgage servicer (HECM).
Your servicer is responsible for initiating your Reverse Mortgage
Assistance Pilot Program application. http://keepyourhomecalifornia.org/reverse-mortgage-assistance-program/
